1:1 and group coaching are delivered online. Standard sessions last for 1 hour, but 1:1’s can be tailored to include breaks or shorter sessions, depending on your needs. Recordings can be available for you to refer to. Written information is coming soon. Home visits are offered in the South Wales region if you want a face-to-face appointment.

No, Sage Health & Wellness can work with you whether you have mild, moderate, severe or very severe illness and it doesn’t matter how long you have been unwell.

Recovery is an individual process, no two people are the same. With consistent actions it can take 3-6 months to start to notice sustainable results.

You dictate the pace and I will work around you. We can keep your 1:1 sessions at a length that suits you. All of our packages are designed in a paced way, and each session includes some deep rest. You will get the recording so don’t worry if you can’t stay for the whole hour, you can watch more when you have the energy to.

No. Although GET used to be recommended by NICE (National Institute for Clinical Excellence), GET it is harmful to people experiencing Post Exertional Malaise and is no longer recommended by NICE. With Sage, we will explore your movement options together and find what works for your body, when the time is right for you.

No. I have no access to medical testing that is required for differential diagnosis.

Getting a diagnosis can be difficult and is not essential for you to receive 1:1 or group coaching as the focus is on health and wellness. It is recommended that you see your GP to rule out any other underlying pathologies.

No but it is recommended that you have a health assessment with your GP, and we will talk about your health conditions and medications during the first session.

Yes, help is available to anyone who wants it. I cannot help a person, adult or child, that does not want it, or is not an active participant in their own recovery. Under 16’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Yes, we will complete a comprehensive assessment together during your first session. This will consider all your health conditions and medications so support can be tailored to suit you.

No. I am able to offer support in the English language only.

Yes I can provide reports to support PIP assessments. The fee for PIP reports is £100 in addition to assessment time.

It is do-able to use a phone, but some of the content will be difficult to see on a small screen. It is recommended to use a larger screen such as a tablet, laptop or monitor if possible.

I acknowledge that everyone has different needs around money. It is important to me that Sage is financially accessible to everyone, and that my energy and work is valued as well as my own needs around sustainability.
To this end I offer free content on social media and free information on the website.
Equinox is the most affordable option, and includes all the information you need to get better.
There is also the option of payment plans to spread out the payment on all of our packages.

Insomnia is characterised by having difficulty getting off to sleep, staying alseep or waking too early, resulting in difficulty getting through the day. It must be present for 3 or more nights per week, for more than 3 months to be considered insomnia. If you’re not sure, check in and we can chat about it. karen@sagehealthandwellness.co.uk
